Technotempel kweekt mensen

In een verlaten fabriekshal voeren arbeiders monotone rituelen uit: de ene bewerkt het, de ander pakt het in, een derde verwijdert wat niet voldoet. De wezens die worden gecreëerd, worden niet gezien als levend of waardevol, maar als producten. Er is geen verwondering vanuit de fabrieksarbeiders. Er is geen twijfel, geen protest – enkel handelingen, afstand en automatisme.

De voorstelling schuift tussen een extatische trance en een koud productieproces. Born for nothing legt de kille mechaniek van eindeloos produceren bloot, naast de fragiele schoonheid van pril leven, en stelt de vraag:

Wat betekent het om levende wezens niet langer als leven te zien, maar om in te zetten voor gebruik?

Technotemple breeds people

In an abandoned factory hall, workers perform monotonous rituals: one processes it, another packs it, a third removes what does not meet the requirements. The beings being created are not seen as living or valuable, but as products. There is no wonder from the factory workers. There is no doubt, no protest – only actions, distance, and automatism.

The performance shifts between an ecstatic trance and a cold production process. Born for nothing exposes the chilling mechanics of endless production, alongside the fragile beauty of nascent life, and poses the question:

What does it mean to no longer view living beings as life, but to use them for utility?
